Schenectady Police are investigating a pair of violent incidents this past week.

This comes after a series of recent shots fired incidents last week, in less than one week’s time, they said.

Officers believed they heard multiple gun shots fired in the Hamilton Hill neighborhood, around 5 a.m. Sunday morning.

A house and vehicle were hit, said police, and they found over a dozen shell casings in all.

The night before – on Saturday – Schenectady Police stopped and arrested a minor. He was carrying a loaded handgun, investigators said.

Police are charging the juvenile with felony criminal weapon possession.
