Schenectady Police are investigating a shooting on Albany Street.

Officers responded to the area of 736 Albany St. and Hillside Crossing Wednesday evening for multiple reports of shots fired. A short time later, they found a man with a gunshot wound to his leg, police said.  

The victim was treated on scene by Schenectady Fire Department paramedics and then transported to Albany Medical Center.
