Police in Schenectady say they’re seeing a rise in thefts from parked cars across the city.

While a few car windows were broken, most of the cars were left unlocked. Police are reminding people to double check your car to make sure it’s locked. Also remove any valuable items such as computers, purses and phones from plain sight.
