Schenectady restaurant gives away 100 vegan chicken sandwiches

The Take Two Café in Schenectady gave out 100 free vegan chicken sandwiches on Monday.
The sandwich, named “No Clucks Given,” comes on a pretzel bun topped with “fried chicken”, mozzarella, truffle aioli and tomato.
The Nest 518 in Schenectady gave away 100 sandwiches last week.
The giveaways are part of an effort to encourage people to eat local – as Chick-fil-A moves into North Greenbush and Clifton Park.
