Schenectady students sing patriotic songs to honor veterans
The Brown School in Schenectady honored veterans and those who are currently serving with a special ceremony.
Brown School put on a Veterans Day ceremony for their community on Thursday.
Students were able to sing songs and share what Veteran’s Day means to them.
John McKenna and Blue Star Mothers were invited as special guests.
McKenna lost his son, Captain John McKenna, when he was killed in the line of duty.
Students took part in a special flag folding ceremony and a slide show was created to celebrate families with veterans.
