There’s a big boost coming to New York to help bring broadband across the state.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announced that the state will get $664 million in federal funding.

The money comes from the bipartisan Infrastructure and Jobs Act.

This investment is the largest single investment for broadband in New York state’s history.

It will provide affordable high-speed internet to spots across the state without service.
