Schumer: Biden’s proposed budget will be good for New Yorkers

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says the budget being proposed by President Joe Biden will help New Yorkers.
The senator provided budgetary highlights of the proposal on Thursday, which include protections for Medicare and Social Security, and the decrease in cost of prescription drugs.
Manufacturing and infrastructure support would also get a boost, said Schumer, and shave the deficit by nearly $3 trillion over the next decade.
