Man faces new charges in Stalking case

The Schuylerville man accused of using his plane to stalk a woman has been arrested again.

Michael J. Arnold, 65, allegedly waited for and followed a person who had an order of protection, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said on Thursday.

The incident allegedly took place on Jan. 12 at a park.

A video provided by the alleged victim, Cassie Wilusz, shows the incident in Fort Hardy Park. A maroon vehicle is seen slowly driving near her vehicle, stopping briefly and then slowly driving away. The Sheriff’s Office confirmed to NewsChannel 13 that Arnold drives a maroon Buick.

Arnold been charged with misdemeanors of criminal contempt and stalking. He was sent to Saratoga County Jail without bail.

Arnold has previously been in trouble with the law for allegedly stalking a woman using his small airplane.

He was arrested again in October after police said he was flying his 1976 Cessna 180 single-engine airplane in violation of a court order as part of the stalking case.

Arnold is also accused of sending messages from a fake Facebook account. He is facing multiple charges in New York and Vermont for allegedly violating orders of protection.

Police would not state whether this latest case is related to the previous ones because they do not release information about victims.
