Crash closes section of Route 9 in Columbia County

A section of Route 9 in Columbia County was closed for a time Sunday afternoon due to a multivehicle crash with serious injuries.

The crash happened just after 2:30 p.m. at the intersection with Route 31 and Route 23, according to the 511NY website.

The scene has since cleared.
