Sentencing date moved for former GE engineer in economic espionage conspiracy case

The sentencing date has been moved for the former General Electric engineer convicted of conspiracy to commit economic espionage.

Xiaoqing Zheng of Niskayuna was scheduled to be sentenced Tuesday, but he has a new court date of October 5.

He faces up to 15 years in prison and up to $5 million in fines.
