One person killed in Pittstown crash

One person was killed in a serious crash in Pittstown on Tuesday.

A car was traveling west on Route 7 and veered into oncoming eastbound traffic and sideswiped a commercial vehicle’s load, which was a sided mobile home, police said.

The driver then bounced off the mobile home and crossed into eastbound traffic, striking a mini-Cooper which contained a family of three from New Jersey.

All occupants of the mini-Cooper sustained injuries and are being treated, police said.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the mini-Cooper died. He is identified as David Snow, 41.

The accident is still under investigation.
