Seven Troy residents face drug charges after search of home

Seven people were arrested in Troy as part of an investigation into illegal drug sales.
Officers received information about possible drug activity at a residence on Glen Avenue. They searched the residence on Tuesday and found an illegal privately made firearm without a serial number, along with heroin, cocaine and fentanyl, police said.
Jan Elier-Roman, 18, Jennifer Roman-Vega, 40, and Eric S. Roman-Vega, 37, were each charged with criminal possession of a firearm, criminal possession of a controlled substance-intent to sell, and felony and misdemeanor count each of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Jose A. Borrero, 50, was charged with a felony count of criminal possession of a controlled substance-intent to sell and misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Edith Valentin, 54, Rikki Sullivan, 34, and Luis A. Morales, 43, were charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance.
