No one was hurt in a Cohoes fire on Tuesday morning, the mayor said.

However, the Red Cross is now helping 16 people who are without a home – including two kids.

Flames broke out at 44 Johnston Avenue around 7 a.m., across from the former Saint Agnes School.

One person told NewsChannel 13 she got out so fast, she didn’t have time to grab any of her belongings.

The Red Cross is on the scene, helping out the 13 people affected by the fire.
