Mayor Kathy Sheehan has officially signed Albany’s 2024 budget into law.

The mayor said the “transformative” spending plan will contain funding for projects such as building a new Lincoln Park Pool, the West Hill Community Center and the Hoffman Park Recreation Center.

The budget also will allow the city to add social workers to police stations and repave dozens of roads throughout the area.
