Siena details teachout plan for former Saint Rose education students

Siena College is now releasing details on a teachout plan for some College of Saint Rose students.

NewsChannel 13 first reported on this plan last month, as the college prepares to close this summer.

The college has received approval from the New York State Education Department to offer a teachout program for College of Saint Rose students for a bachelor of science and a master of science in education, as well as in early childhood and childhood education, or birth through sixth grade.

Admissions counselors from Siena will work individually with Saint Rose students to develop a course plan to stay on track in order to graduate on time, Siena Provost Dr. Margaret Madden said.
