Skidmore College receives grant to support firefighter safety
Skidmore College is getting a federal grant to support a fire prevention program.

Tuesday, Paul Tonko announced that $960,000 will be awarded to help support scientific research to improve firefighter safety.
The grant is funded by the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act and American Rescue Plan Act.
The project will facilitate research relating to firefighter health.
