Skidmore concert to celebrate music from 1973

Skidmore College’s music department is getting ready for “Skidmania ’73.”

The popular annual tradition at the school this weekend, celebrates the music of 50 years ago, fueled by the talent and imagination of Skidmore student musicians.

Student acts will present creative twists on familiar music, or straight-up tributes, all based on selections from the music of 1973.

All the proceeds raised from the event will go to charity.
