Some Capital Region fire departments to get national funds

More than $6.2 million in federal funding will go to fire departments across Upstate New York.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand made the announcement on Thursday.
In addition to the money already given to Troy and Schenectady departments, Saratoga Springs will be getting $240,000, and the Greenwich Department will be receiving $94,000.
