The party won’t just be at the track. Downtown Saratoga’s Broadway is also getting in on the fun, and will be shutdown to traffic.
An event big enough to close off Broadway requires a big band.
While the official announcement hasn’t been made yet, NewsChannel 13 has confirmed through several sources that the band is Blues Traveler, the Grammy-winning group with hits including “Run Around” and “Hook.”
Belmont Fest starts on Thursday, June 6, but the party starts the day before, on Wednesday, June 5.
