South Glens Falls students gear up for 47th annual Marathon Dance
Students in South Glens Falls are getting ready to dance their hearts for more than a day, and it's all for a good cause.
Students in South Glens Falls are getting ready to dance their hearts out for more than a day, and it’s all for a good cause.
The annual South High Marathon Dance is taking place at the high school on March 1 and March 2. This is the dance’s 47th year.
Except for a brief sleep break at the school overnight, the students will be dancing for the duration, around 24 hours.
More than 80% of the high school student body participates in the dance each year.
The student run event has raised more than $10 million through the years.
