South Glens Falls woman accused of forging check to steal $35,000 from business

A South Glens Falls woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing $35,000 from a Queensbury business.

Aubree Bannister, 38, is accused of forging a check from the business and depositing it into her account. The incident happened in August, State Police said.

Bannister was arrested on Dec. 14 and charged with possession of a forged instrument and grand larceny. She was arraigned in Warren County Centralized Arraignment Court and released on her own recognizance.
