The continued flight cancellations from Southwest Airlines put a hiccup in some preparations for the “PBR: Unleash the Beast Tour” coming to MVP Arena in Albany.

The people who set up the arena for the bull riding event had either canceled or delayed flights from Southwest Airlines.

Without these guys setting the stage, it could be hard to put on a show.

The good news is the issues with Southwest are not detrimental, said Jim Palermo, the Director of Remote Operations for the show.

He said some of the crew got in late, but they’re used to being behind schedule. The bull riding show is Thursday and Friday at 7:45 p.m.

There will be between 32 and 38 riders and 60 to 70 bulls.

As for the riders, Palermo says he is not sure about their flight schedules, because riders are independently contracted. However, he has confidence everyone who needs to get there will be there – including the bulls – who will stay at a housing facility in the area.
