The New York State Attorney General’s Office of Special Investigation is looking into the man who died after a crash with Troy Police.

The crash happened on Feb. 22, just before 1 a.m.

An officer was responding to a 911 call, driving near Hoosick and 15th streets.

The police SUV and another vehicle – driven by Sabeh Alalkawi – collided.

It is state law that a special investigator looks into each civilian death involving a police officer.
