It’s a way for children with a visual impairment or blindness to experience sports in a way they may not have been able to yet.
The campers learn sports skills they can bring back to school with them during the year that can help them participate on school teams with their classmates.
The camp was recently recognized by Lions Club International with the Kindness Matters Service Award.
That award recognizes high impact service projects created by Lions clubs across the world.
