NY state awards $16 million to help farms address climate change

About $16 million will be going to farms in New York state to address the impacts of climate change.

About $16 million will be going to farms in New York state to address the impacts of climate change.

That includes more than $1 million for the Capital Region, split between four farms.

The Climate Resilient Farming Grant Program will help 116 farms across the state, Gov. Kathy Hochul said.
The projects will reduce greenhouse gases and boost resiliency to extreme weather events.
