State giving Capital Region $45 million for bridge, culvert repairs

The Capital Region is getting a big boost from the state to help replace bridges and culverts.
The governor announced the Capital Region will be getting $44.5 million as part of the Bridge NY Initiative.
The funding is aimed at helping local governments reinforce their existing infrastructure.
In total, $516 million is being given to 141 communities across the state.
