State health leaders meet to discuss senior care

State health leaders held a meeting on Tuesday morning to talk about how to best care for the oldest New Yorkers.

The Department of Health and the State Office for Aging are leading this.

It’s part of a series of town halls that have been held across the state.

New York’s master plan for aging is designed to give older residents proper access to programs and services they need.

The state is hoping to take this feedback and ensure the current plan is effective.
