State parks offering free admission to help people cool off
Admission to state parks free this week in light of these hot temperatures.
People looking to cool off this week can head to a state park.
Gov. Kathy Hochul announced that New Yorkers can enjoy free admittance to all parks to help cool off.
“Take your kids to the state parks and beaches and have a good chance to off in refreshing water,” she said.
In the Capital Region, that includes Moreau Lake State Park, Grafton Lakes State Park, Taconic State Park-Copake Falls area, Lake Taghkanic State Park andThompson’s Lake Campground – Thacher State Park.
