State Police crackdown on drunken, distracted drivers for St. Patrick’s Day

State and local police will be cracking down on drunken and impaired driving for St. Patrick’s Day.
Expect additional DWI patrols and sobriety checkpoints during the enforcement period – which runs from Friday – St. Patrick’s Day – through March 19.
Police will also be looking out for distracted driving, so put those phones down.
