State Police, DMV stepping up efforts to crack down on underage drinking

New York state is cracking down on underage drinking this summer – specifically, using fake IDs to buy alcohol at concert venues.
Operation Prevent is led by the DMV to prevent underage drinking and driving.
They will work closely with investigators from the State Liquor Authority, State Police and State Parks Police.
The underage drinking enforcement continues through September 17.
