The winner of the Democratic primary for New York’s 21st Congressional District will face incumbent Rep. Elise Stefanik in November.

Stefanik is not on the ballot for this primary, but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t been busy.

NewsChannel 13 caught up with her in Rensselaer County as she met with constituents, explaining how redistricting warranted a second primary.

She also reiterated her support for fellow Republican Marc Molinaro and former President Donald Trump.

As much as she supports Trump, she is not acknowledging rumors that if she runs again, she would be his vice president.

Hear what she said when asked about that by watching the video of Elaine Houston’s story.
