Stockbridge man admits to posting online photos of underage girl

A man has admitted to posting photos online of an underage girl.

Joseph Smith pleaded guilty Wednesday to several charges stemming from an incident in 2020, the Berkshire County district attorney said.

Smith posted illicit photos of a girl he had been in a relationship with online, and the victim called police.

Smith was sentenced to five years’ probation, and will have to register as a sex offender.
