Study: New York roads among worst in country

A new study finds New York has some of the worst roads in the country.

Researchers analyzed data from the United States Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration.

They found 24% of major roads in New York – like highways – are in poor condition. Only 40% are in good condition.

Roads in rural areas of the state could be in even worse shape, researchers said.
