Sunmark hands out big donations to Capital Region charities

Sunmark Credit Union is handing out big money to local charities.
The Sunmark Foundation announced the recipients of $20,000 to celebrate “National Credit Union Day.”
Three organizations are getting $5,000 each.
Night Out For You is a not-for-profit organization, whose mission is creating an experience for an adult undergoing cancer treatment.
Black Diamonds Academic Success leads the effort to empower young men of color to graduate high school and pursue college degrees.
Safe Inc. of Schenectady provides outreach, shelter, counseling and support to homeless youth who are at risk.
Other local organizations received smaller donations.
