SUNY research foundation receives grant
The SUNY research foundation is getting a big boost.
U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer announced more than $200,000 is coming to the institutes today.
The money is part of the nearly $2 million grant they announced statewide.
The grants are distributed by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
The awards will support research and learning in history, literature, philosophy and other areas of the humanities.
