Sur La Table opens at Stuyvesant Plaza

There was a celebration for a new store that opened Saturday at Stuyvesant Plaza.   

Kitchen and culinary store, Sur La Table, held a grand opening for its first Capital Region location.
Instead of a typical ribbon-cutting, they broke an oversized baguette that was baked for them by the shop next door – Bountiful Bread.
General manager and resident chef, Rachel Goulet says the store hopes to welcome customers not just to buy, but also to learn how to cook for themselves.

The retailer began with its first shop in Seattle in 1972.
