Suspect in Duanesburg trooper shooting flown to hospital

A suspect accused of shooting a state trooper on I-88 in Duanesburg on Friday then shot himself, according to a source.
The suspect was rushed to a field at Shafer Park across from Duanesburg Elementary School. He was in an ambulance for about a half-hour, then flown away.
It’s still unclear if the suspect survived the shooting themselves. It’s also unclear why this person allegedly shot a trooper.
The suspect was in an ambulance for around a half-hour and then rushed to a LifeNet helicopter at Shafer Park, across from Duanesburg Elementary School.
