Swimming free at state parks
Families will be able to swim for free in the Peerless and Victoria pools at Saratoga Spa State Park, as part of an initiative by Gov. Kathy Hochul.
Hochul on Tuesday launched her "Get Offline, Get Outside" campaign. The goal is to promote mental and physical health and encourage families and kids to spend more time outdoors.
Families will be able to swim for free in the Peerless and Victoria pools at Saratoga Spa State Park, as part of an initiative by Gov. Kathy Hochul.

The state plans to do that by removing pool fees at state parks.
Hochul also announced a grant program aimed at helping kids learn to swim.
