Teen accused of firing illegal gun in Troy

Troy Police have arrested a 16-year-old boy after he fired an illegally-owned handgun last week, they said.
The suspect – whose name is not being released since they are a minor – was spotted by police in downtown Troy on Sunday night.
He was taken into custody and found to have an illegal privately-made gun, investigators said.
The suspect was expected to appear in court on Monday.
