Teen sent to prison for 2022 shooting in Crossgates Mall parking lot

The teen who opened fire at Crossgates Mall earlier this year has learned his fate.
Devon Beckles, 17, of Schenectady will spend the next 3 ½ years in prison, followed by 2 ½ years of probation.
He opened fire and injured a victim in the Best Buy parking lot back in April 2022.
He pleaded guilty to attempted assault in April of this year.
