Another mosquito tested positive for West Nile Virus in Pittsfield.
The sample was taken in the vicinity of Allendale on Cheshire Road, city officials said. The Massachusetts Department of Health has elevated the West Nile virus risk in Pittsfield to “moderate”.
While there have been no cases detected in humans, health officials urge everyone to take precautions.
