Thousands of Disneyland employees voted to go on strike
Thousands of Disneyland workers have voted to go on strike over unfair labor practices.
Four unions representing more than 14,000 workers at the park made that announcement last night.
The unions cited economic hardship for their members, including food and housing insecurity as the reason for the decision.
This does not mean all employees will strike immediately.
Both sides still have a reach an agreement to avoid a walkout.
If a strike does occur, it would be the first at Disneyland since 1984, when nearly 2,000 cast members walked off the job for 22 days.
