Three animals seized in Catskill animal cruelty investigation

A Catskill man is facing animal cruelty charges.

State Police and the Columbia-Greene Humane Society took a donkey, a horse, and a mini-horse off a property at 4880 Route 32 last month, they said. The property was once the Friar Tuck Inn and Resort. All three animals were underweight and dehydrated.  The donkey also had two cuts on his neck.

If convicted, the property owner, Li Binghui, 57, could face up to a year in jail.
