Three car Duanesburg crash under investigation

A crash involving three-cars is now under investigation. The crash happened around 7:10 p.m. Sunday, the Schenectady County Sheriff's Office said.

The crash happened around 7:10 p.m. Sunday, the Schenectady County Sheriff’s Office said.

A Honda Civic was traveling east on State Route 20 when it traveled through a red light, striking a Honda

Pilot which was traveling north on State Route 30.  The force caused the Civic to hit another car that was stopped at the traffic light west on State Route 20.

The driver was taken to Albany Medical Center with serious injuries. They were issued two tickets for speed and disobeying a traffic control device.

Passengers of the other vehicles suffered minor injuries.

A dog ran off following the crash, investigators said. The dog, named Lilo, is 2 years old, approximately 50 pounds and has no collar. The dog is a rescue puppy, skittish and has a grain allergy, investigators said.
