Three people face weapon, drug charges after search of Albany home
Three men face gun and drug charges
Three people in Albany are facing weapon and drug charges after a search of a Lexington Avenue residence on Tuesday.
Police went to the home around 10:20 a.m. as part of an ongoing investigation. All three residents fled on foot, but were quickly found and taken into custody.
Officers found a loaded handgun, crack cocaine, powder cocaine, fentanyl and MDMA, police said.
Javonte Heard, 23, of Green Island, Keshawn Simmons, 26, of Bronx, and Tyquan Lowrie, 30, of Bronx, were each charged with criminal possession of a weapon, several counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count each of criminally using drug paraphernalia.
All three were arraigned and sent to Albany County Jail.
