Toys for Tots kicked off its 75th annual program in preparation for the holidays while anticipating obstacles for the year.

Toys for Tots and the Marine Corps Reserve will work with more than 250 businesses and organizations across the state to serve more than 200,000 kids this holiday season.

Unfortunately, organizers say this year could be a little trickier than previous years.

Toys for Tots Capital Region Coordinator, Gunnery Sergeant Albert Roman Jr., let us know the hurdles they are facing this year. “We lost our warehouse, we’re kind of in the midst of moving to a new location, and we’re running behind the 8 ball at the moment. But, in true Marine Corp fashion, we’ll get through it in one shape or form.”
