Traffic advisories issued for road work
In Queensbury, a portion of Quaker Road will be closed to traffic, starting Sunday night.

The road will be closed between 8 and 11 p.m., through Thursday, august 24.
Contractors will be resurfacing the stretch between Ridge Road and Quaker Ridge Boulevard.
If you need to go to Walmart those nights, the county says you can get on Quaker Road from Dix Avenue.
From 11 to 6 a.m., Quaker Road will be closed from Ridge Road to Dix Avenue.

And in Rensselaer County, County Route 96, also known as Indian Massacre Road, in Petersburgh will be closed Monday for the replacement of culverts.
The county says the road will reopen on Tuesday.
