An Amsterdam man is facing multiple charges, after police say they pulled over a drunken driver operating with a suspended license.
State police say they pulled over Joseph Harrington, 56, Tuesday night in the town of Bethlehem.
They say he appeared intoxicated, and in the car was a tactical rifle with illegal parts attached.
They say he’s been convicted of a prior DWI within the past 10 years – and police say a separate felony conviction prohibited him from owning guns.
Harrington is now in Albany County Jail.
He’s now due to appear Thursday night in court for a preliminary hearing.
