The trial for the man accused of stabbing his girlfriend in the Hudson Valley Community College parking lot in 2022 has been delayed until Jan. 22. It was supposed to start on Monday, and was already pushed back at least once before this.

The trial for the man accused of stabbing his girlfriend in the Hudson Valley Community College parking lot in 2022 has been delayed until Jan. 22. It was supposed to start on Monday, and was already pushed back at least once before this.

Zymeir Walton is facing attempted murder charges.

Walton followed his girlfriend to her car, said police, stabbed her multiple times and pushed her out of the car before driving away.

Walton has claimed self-defense in the case, saying he was attacked first.
