Trial date set in Rensselaer County ballot fraud case

Three Rensselaer County GOP officials could go on trial next month in a ballot fraud case.
The trial of Director of Operations Rich Crist, Director of Central Services Jim Gordon, and Political Consultant Leslie Wallace is scheduled for June 26.
The charges against the three stem from allegations that they used fraud and intimidation to obtain absentee ballots in the names of voters for primary and general elections in 2021.
